What this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of the Guardian Labs website (guardianlabs.app). The website handles very little personal information, so this policy is short.
For the product data handled by the StepGuardian apps (parent and child-device) — such as location and app-use records — see the Privacy Policy. Children get a plain-language explanation on the child app's linking consent screen.
Contact and deletion requests
We receive personal information only when a visitor sends it to us directly with a question or a deletion request. For now, we take both by email (help@guardianlabs.app).

Information we receive this way is not used for any purpose other than handling your request (no marketing).
We do not use tracking
This website does not use any of the following:
- tracking or advertising cookies
- advertising pixels (such as Facebook Pixel)
- third-party analytics scripts

What is stored on your device
To remember your display preferences, the website stores the two items below in your browser's localStorage. These values stay on your device only, are never sent to a server, and cannot identify you — they are not personal information.

Server logs
Our website hosting (Firebase Hosting) keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, request URL, browser information) by default for security and incident response. The operator does not use these logs to profile visitors or for advertising, and they are deleted automatically under the hosting provider's retention policy.
